Good place i always stop here before I jump in my truck after work
Came here because I was craving some jerk chicken and spicy beef patty’s one of my friends introduced me to so I was sure they would have it here. As soon as I walked in I felt very JUDGED already. I brought along a friend who hasn’t had Jamaican food wanting her to also try it. The guy serving the food could tell I was lost and didn’t even budge to help me or explain anything at all. I just asked for jerk chicken, plantains and Mac and it was 30+ dollars which is RIDICULOUS. First and last time here so I payed. I asked the older lady at the cash register for some spicy beef patties and she sternly said “they’re not ready”. That’s okay but the attitude was not necessary. The older lady was also looking at us up and down and was very dismissive to us, idk if they were surprised that a Hispanic and white person was there but as soon as a pair of POC showed up it was bright smiles laughter and sweetness. ANYWAYS I still love Jamaican food but I’ll definitely not come here and will tell my other friends not to go here🤷♂️
