About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant

A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on the corner of Rockaway Tpke and Reyem Drive in Lawrence near JFK Airport. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).

Went back to see if anything has changed but no!! Won't be going back there anymore!! I wouldn't recommend this place!!

The food is good and the girls are awesome. However, the owner is a slum boss and has his employees working in the uncomfotable heat with no air other than an open door. Stop being cheap and fix the place up, especially that horrible bathroom with kitchen equipment stored in it. Treat your customers and most importantly the people who work for you the way you would want to be treated. You should not have customers sitting in your place in the heat. Last year I asked the owner about the air conditioner. He said it was broken, this year and it's still broken. That's just an excuse!!
