About Golden Krust Caribbean Restaurant
A fast-casual takeout or dine-in Caribbean & Jamaican restaurant, conveniently situated on North State Road in Coral Springs. Known for their family recipes of classic Caribbean food staples, from Jamaican beef patties and coco bread, to jerk chicken, oxtail, and curried goat or chicken. Offerings now include vegetarian and beyond meat alternatives. The bakery boasts numerous enticing options including spice bun, hard dough bread, and carrot cake (among many more delectable items).
I came in during posted business hours and had a disappointing experience. They were out of patties even though they still had about an hour left before closing, and the chairs were already put up, which made it feel like they were closing early and not welcoming customers. I ordered a large oxtail and received only six very small pieces with very little meat on them. For a $30 plate, the portion did not match the price. I did ask for extra on the side and was told there would be an additional $0.60 charge, which I agreed to. Overall, between the small portion size, missing menu items, and the unwelcoming atmosphere, it just wasn’t a great experience. If a business is open, it should operate fully or clearly communicate limited availability.I came in during posted business hours and had a disappointing experience. I don’t know the lady I spoke to over the phone, but she was great actually amazing the first time someone actually listened to me with a delivery order. She didn’t try or trick me with my food and made the order the way I asked, even though she already premade it… I love love love this location🥰
